Welcome to KlayPod ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the KlayPod application, website, and services (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.
When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding the password you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password.
Age requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. By signing up, you confirm that you are 18 or older. KlayPod is a work tool and is not meant for children. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and delete its data.
We use Supabase for authentication and data storage. Your account information is stored securely according to Supabase's security practices.
KlayPod offers both free and paid subscription plans. By selecting a paid subscription, you agree to pay the subscription fees as described at the time of purchase.
Subscription periods may be monthly or annual, with payments processed securely through our payment processor. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
Our Service allows you to create, store, and share tasks, projects, audio notes, meeting recordings, transcripts, AI summaries, and other content ("User Content"). You retain all rights to your User Content.
By submitting User Content to KlayPod, you grant us a license to store, display, and process your User Content as necessary to provide the Service, including transcribing audio, generating AI summaries, and extracting action items.
You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of sharing it through our Service. You are also responsible for ensuring you have the right to record any meetings in which other participants are present, and for complying with applicable consent and recording notification laws in your jurisdiction. When the KlayPod note-taker joins a meeting, it posts a message in the meeting chat telling everyone that the meeting is being recorded and transcribed.
Only upload files, recordings and other content that you own or have permission to use. Do not upload content that infringes anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights, or that is unlawful.
We respect the rights of creators. If you believe content stored or shared on KlayPod infringes your copyright, email our designated agent at kartik.dvyas@gmail.com with the subject line "Copyright complaint" and include:
We will acknowledge your notice within 24 hours and remove or disable access to infringing content within 36 hours of a valid notice, as required by India's Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and in line with the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We will tell the person who uploaded it. If they believe it was removed by mistake, they can send us a counter-notice with the same details and a statement explaining why; we may restore the content unless the complainant tells us they have started legal action. We close the accounts of repeat infringers.
Designated agent: Kartik Vyas, B3-302, Uniworld Gardens 2, Sector 47, Sohna Road, Gurugram 122018, Haryana, India. Email: kartik.dvyas@gmail.com.
We use Supabase to store and process your data, with industry-standard encryption at rest and TLS in transit. OAuth tokens for third-party integrations (such as Google) are encrypted at rest and never exposed to the client browser.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information, but we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to overcome those measures.
You control how long your data is retained, configurable in Settings → Privacy:
We do not train, fine-tune, or evaluate any AI model on your User Content. Your audio, video, transcripts, summaries, tasks, and notes are processed solely to deliver the features you requested.
Our AI vendors (OpenAI, Google Gemini) process your content under zero-data-retention terms and are contractually prohibited from using your content to train their models or retaining it beyond the processing request.
Our operations team holds server-level credentials that can technically access stored content. We are transparent about this rather than claiming a guarantee we cannot enforce.
The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of KlayPod and its licensors.
The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service or delete your account through the settings page.
Unless otherwise stated on our pricing page or at the time of purchase:
In exceptional circumstances, KlayPod may, at its sole discretion, offer a partial or full refund. Such exceptions will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Upon termination of these Terms:
In no event shall KlayPod, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
If you connect Jira or Confluence, you confirm you are authorized to do so for your organization. KlayPod stores Atlassian account IDs, names, emails and synced issue content only to provide the sync, handles it as described in our Privacy Policy, erases data of closed Atlassian accounts, and deletes stored Atlassian names and emails within 24 hours of disconnecting. Deletion requests: kartik.dvyas@gmail.com.
You can ask KlayPod to remember rules, facts and preferences. Rules apply only to your own tasks and meetings; no one, including workspace admins, can set rules for another person. All memories are private to you and are never shared with other users, in your personal space or any workspace. Do not store passwords, PINs, OTPs, or card, bank or ID numbers; KlayPod refuses them. KlayPod uses AI to apply memories and may sometimes misread one, so check important tasks and meetings. You can view, edit or delete memories anytime in Settings → Memory, as described in our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact us:
Grievance Officer: Kartik Vyas (contact details above). Complaints about content or about how we handle your data are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days. See also the Grievance Officer section of our Privacy Policy.
